About
Rose Genele is a revenue and transformation executive with over a decade of experience in operations and technology. She currently leads The Opening Door, a consultancy focused on revenue operations and transformation, working with technology, professional services, and impact-driven organizations to unlock growth through strategy, operations, and emerging technology. Additionally, she serves as Managing Partner at Folium ESG Solutions, a consulting partnership committed to making environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles accessible and actionable.
As an AI ethics and responsible AI advisor and speaker, Rose advocates for algorithmic fairness, transparency, and accountability, championing human-centred AI systems.
Beyond her consulting roles, Rose contributes to governance and ethics conversations as a board member for the Canadian Centre for Ethics and Corporate Policy and Volcano Theatre. Her achievements include a nomination for the 2024 RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards and being recognized as one of Canada’s Top 100 Black Women to Watch.
She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Law and Business from Toronto Metropolitan University and a Certificate in Ethics.
