Shivangi Pandey

Shivangi  is an operations, UX research, and communications professional working at the intersection of law, technology, and public understanding. With a background in legal operations at Silicon Valley startups, she brings a grounded, systems-level perspective to artificial intelligence, one informed by real-world workflows, incentives, and human behaviour.

A writer and natural storyteller, Shivangi specializes in translating complex, technical subjects into clear, human-centred narratives that empower critical thinking and meaningful public engagement. Alongside her governance work, she spearheads communications initiatives as CCO at QuickSlate Films, a Toronto-based media group connecting filmmakers across Canada.

Shivangi began volunteering with AIGS Canada in 2025 and now serves as Communications Coordinator. In this role, she supports communications and advocacy efforts aimed at bridging gaps between policymakers, technical experts, and everyday Canadians, with a focus on inclusive decision-making, clarity, and accountability in AI governance.
